How To Properly Measure and Order Your FurnitureSafe^® Encasement

Due to the size variations in furniture styles, FurnitureSafe^® furniture encasements are not custom fitted but instead designed to fit the wide range of available furniture options. To ensure the best fit, properly measure your furniture to determine which size FurnitureSafe^® encasements will work best for you.

• Measure the length of your furniture from outside to outside
• Measure arm to arm
• Measure the height of your furniture from floor to the top of the item
• Measure the width from front to back.

How To Properly Install Your FurnitureSafe^® Encasement

1. Make sure the furniture is exactly where you want it to be placed. After the encasement is installed, you should not slide the furniture on the floor because it will tear the encasement. After you have zipped everything on, you may lift the furniture and put it in place. Find the zipper. Place the flat part on the floor (tag says this “side to floor”.) the zipper should be under the front and sides of sofa at floor level.
2. Tilt the sofa up in back and pull the flat part under the sofa toward the front. (Bring zipper to the front)
3. Then tilt the front up and pull the flat part of encasement under the front legs.
4. Tilt the back of the sofa up and pull the encasement to the rear of the sofa. Pull the balance up over the back of sofa and over the sofa all the way to the front to floor.
5. Zip the encasement carefully so the zipper will not be compromised.
6. The encasement is made “Tuck to Fit”. (It will be loose). Tuck around arms and down in cushion where the back meets seat cushion.
